Size of o ring on vrsf bov flange?

Im not sure i get what your saying. I threw the O-ring out. Wrapped the pipe threads 3 times and screwed the flange on till it reached the little lip on the flange where the O ring would sit. No issues here.

I'm saying when I put the flange on, the threaded part of the pipe goes into the flange really far then it starts threading, I turn it like 3 full turns and its botttomed out.

If you have any blue locktite around you could give that a try. I always use it on the fittings on my paintball guns to seal them.

We use just the o-ring without teflon on our installs. Honestly if the o-ring is installed correctly it shouldn't leak. We had the same o-ring design running on our 800whp evo without an issue :)

I don't see how you could install an o ring wrong. And no matter what, I had to use Teflon tape or Teflon tape plus silicone everytime I put the flange on

Believe me, if there's room for error, someone's going to make a mistake.

I've seen these installed incorrectly a dozen times. I've also seen people not use the o-ring because they "think it will leak", I've seen people strip the threads and claim it was stripped out of the box (LOL), I've seen it all.

If the o-ring is properly set and the flange is nice and tight, it won't leak. With or without teflon. That's not to say teflon isn't a good idea, it's just not absolutely necessary. Then again, one can't be too careful.
