Ive got a set of PTE 1000s, stock fuel rail, 2g eclipse. The ones they sell at auto parts stores for my model of car dont work. I mean, they do work but if you tighten down the rail like its supposed to be it chew up the o rings and leaks like hell. This cant be right. When i last had the engine in i actually had to loosen up the rail and barely push the orings in to get it to hold pressure.
Anyone know the size or where to get them locally? Ive found a link on extremepsi for the full pte seal kit but ive been waiting for this engine for so long i just want to DRIVE it!!!
I will use the old method just to drive it but i dont like doing that. Its like these injectors werent built right for the dsms. If i had it to do over again i would surely go with FICs or any other brand. The orings it came with originally had the same problem and chewed them up.

. Well, im going to oreilly and bringing my rail and injectors. Im leaving with a working fn fuel system. Ive worked over 22 hrs in the last 2 days on this install. So many new parts its crazy. The PR kit fit like a dream, just had to trim the bumper in the ussual place. The new 5858 turbo fits nice and i checked and it looks like all i have to do is trim the fan shroud on the passenger(large) fan just a tiny bit and itll clear the wg actuator just fine. Wont even need slim line fans.
