single cam 4g63

I was wondering if a single cam 4g63 block will take a 16 valve head this is not for performance just a driver. thanks for the help.

where did you find a single cam 4g63? never knew such a thing existed

hehe, offcourse they exist

but no sense to fit dohc head to sohc cylinder....
sohc engine has also different pistons than dohc ...
so u have to change them too..

cheaper and better to buy full dohc engine...

ex. my other car 88 galant glsi is 8v sohc engine..
(pretty slow, but it's a smooth rider )

thanks for the help guys now I wont bother pulling that single cam out of the crashed car it is in!
