Last few times i have gotten WOT getting onto the highway by the time i shift into the third the rmps and boost is normal, no grinding, but no acceleration to the wheels. So i let in the clutch, gently shift to 4th and have grip agian.

Now yeah this sounds like normal clutch sliappage but what is confusing me is 3 miles latter by the time i get off the highway clutch pedal stifness is normal, and i can do a quick pull to 50mph like nothing every happened.

Whenever this has happened it was always shifting into third, although i have not toped out 3rd and shifted into 4th in a while so i dont really know if it will happen in 4th or 5th. Is it just the clutch slipping, maybee a problem with the throw out bearing re-engaging the clutch, or soemthing else??

FYI i am FWD1g, have a 2100lb pp, streetdisk, ACT streetlight flywheel, and installed prothane motor mounts 2 weeks ago.

Re-bleed the system and check for any signs of air. How much power are you putting down?

More description necessary. When you are flooring it in gear, are the revs rising and the car not accelerating? Do you have a spongy clutch? Clutch slipping will not make the clutch soft, so let us know what you mean when you say "clutch pedal stiffness is normal." If it is slip, it will happen in any gear above the minimum, meaning if you can slip it in 3rd, you can slip it in 4th and 5th also.

If you have a spongy pedal, do what RavenX suggested. You probably have air in your hydraulic system.

Havent dyno tested the car so you probably would be able to guess better then me, but mods besides the drivetrain ones listed include walbro pump, 550cc RC's, afc, fmic, 2gmaf, mbc at 16psi pump gas (no 93 to be found in kans-ass :notgood: ), metal intake/IC pipes, 2g exh mani and o2 housing.

Yes the pedal is spongy while it is sliping now that i think about it.

Thanx for the info guys, got a couple more dbl shifts but ill bleed it hopefully monday, and let you know if that was it.
