So ive finnally gotten a wideband, mtx-L, and did a little tuning. Turns out i was at 9 at WOT and idle was at 20. Installed it as soon as i got out of work,### i had it shipped there:thumb:. anyways. currently at 10 at WOT and cruising at 17.8. i plan on changing my settings till im at a 11.5 at WOT and idle/criuse is set at 16; tomorrow on the way to work.
Main question is: ive got a set of 550rc's and a 255 wally ready to be installed. in order to run these fuel components, should i get a afpr and fp gauge first?

all im using to tune right now is the gm translator. If needed to know my goal for this car is to run 12's using a 14b turbo, lotoweight reduction kit, and some 264's in the future. would really appretiate some input.:D

I would definitely recommend getting a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge before you install the fuel pump and injectors. Also if all you want is to run 12s using the 14b, pick up a SAFC or similar tuning device, this is a necessity.

you dont need a fpr. stock one will hold up fine. also cruising @ 16afr wont feel good. the car may" buck" im surprised you could cruise @ 17 with out giving it gas to richen it up. try 16afr but go 15.5 leanest give you better mpg and enough tq @ a constant/sustained rpm so the car doesnt feel sluggish. gl with you goal.

o yea, ive got one of those too, forgot, just havent installed it either didnt know if i would still need it with the translator. Im not too sure how to even use the safc yet, still researching. only reason i even got it is because i read i would need it.
