if i reamber correctly safc2 compensates for a max of +50% over and -50% under.
that would mean 660's are the max. oh well. there goes what my theroy. 780's for real? huuh.

You are correct in your assumptions. He might of been able to tune the 780's to run good but Im sure a wideband would have shown that it was really rich.
