I took the leap of faith and decided to get my cylinder head from a fairly new vendor on here-- Strictly Import Motorsports. I talked to Allen, and even though he spelled his name incorrectly (allAn is how the cool guys spell it these days 
, he was very helpful. I planned on getting a:
Stage 1 port/polish
Cleaning & Decking
New valves, guides, seals
SIM 275 cams
Assembly
I would be sending my own Crower springs & Ti retainers and 3g lifters. Id also be sending my core in. I wanted a 6bolt head and even though my core would be a 7 bolt, he made it happen. The price was insane! He said something like this usually takes 3-5 days to complete after my head was received.
The transaction started on the 21st and my head was there that Thursday... 2-3days later. I expected my head the following week, but it hadnt come. I spoke to Al again and he told me they were a bit busy since the shop just opened and that I would be getting some free work done to my head (fixed some guides which were damaged and also a Stage 2 port/polish) so it would take some extra time. The communication was great so I had no issue with this.
When it finally came I was fairly impressed!!!

My (well our) final thoughts on SIM is that they do GREAT work for a very, very low price! The staff is wonderful and the product shows it! I had to wait a bit longer than advertised, but everything went smoothly and was updated frequently on the status of my item. I would DEFINITELY do business with them again and would recommend them to anyone!! Thanks again guys!
