Ok, I am installing a set of bomex style side skirts and the skirt itself has a lip that comes up into the door, but everytime I close my door it rubs against the side and the door doesn't close right, I plan on molding them, but if they don't close right, right now then I can't add even more material. How is it exactly everyone mounts their sides, rivits towards the car, or downwards and cut the lip off? Any help would be great. Thanks

Well when i used to be into the whole rice scene. What i did was cut off that lip, screw the the side skirt into the car with sheet m etal screws and then molded over the screws, came out awesome.

Hey ryno, thanks for the reply thats what I was going to do, but would I screw it in towards the car or downwards as in the pic below:

I was planning on getting those side skirts for my next project. But do all of the bomex side skirts like that rub? or is it just your set?
