Any body know how to remove the warning on the passenger side mirror that reads "Objects in mirror are larger than they appear"? I have looked at it and it appears to be etched into the glass but wasn't sure so thats why I'm asking. Also if it is etched could I get a new glass without it saying that?

Thanks,

Wow, yours says "objects in mirror are LARGER than they appear"? Mine says "objects in mirror are CLOSER than they appear"LOL Sorry, just had to say that. Yes that is etched in the mirror and no you won't be able to remove it. I'm not sure if you can find one without it, but maybe aftermarket somewhere might not have the writing. Why do you want it gone?

Closer, larger, you know what I meant. LOL I want it gone so it will look better and match the drivers side. I think it will look way better once it is gone. Also have a decal that says "Objects in mirror are losing" and I want to put it there on both sides. I'm going to call around to some auto glass shops tomorrow, and see what they have.

Thanks,

Ahhhh The old "objects in mirror are losing".LOL I kind of thought that might be what you were doing.:D I always wondered where you get those. I just never thought it was a sticker. I thought it was just etched in the glass like normal. So hows the sticker thing work and where did you get it?

A guy on Talk is making some. I have one on the driver's side.

They are on ebay every so often, you just clean off the surface, apply the sticker, and peel off.

I got mine from amazon.com. I had a 20.00 dollar gift certificate and really couldn't buy anything else but stickers LOL They apply just like any other decal you would put on your car.

my bike had one when i bought it that said "objects in mirror has flashing blue lites" LOL
