Showing off my new 1G

Im so happy haha. After my laser went bye bye I didnt think I would be able to get ahold of another in such nice shape again. Blessing in disguise because I just bought this beauty today. Immaculate condition, service records, new timing belt (proved it too), well taken care of car. The guy who owned it drove mostly highway miles and was a professional detailer. Picked her up for 2500. Ive never seen a 1G in this nice of shape and it drives like a brand new fkn car. Amazing.

Car looks awesome. I don't know why, but I think the 1g body style is just sexy. Most find the 2g body style much more appealing (and modern) but there is just something classic about the 1g curves. Congrats on such an awesome find. For 2500 it looks like you got a
good deal.

Yah I love the 1G body style myself. The 2gs look nice and seem to have alot more parts for styling that make them look sweet but a stock 2g really doesnt look as nice as a 1G too me. Its like it has too many curves/bubbly look. They still look very nice though I just prefer the 1G. Its like you can leave the body alone and it still looks sweet

was the same with the 240s I used to own. I loved the way the 89-94 models looks much more than the 95-99's.

I see you just changed your car type under your SN. I take it this one is a FWD. How do you like the change so far?

My laser was FWD too but Ive driven the AWDs and I do love em. Im good at launching the FWD though and I dont seem to have any problems with it. I dont plan on making tons of HP anyway its not a drag car its a daily driver. Sometime down the road im gonna build a 1/4 mile monster and find an AWD 1G but for now some light modding and reliability is what Im lookin for.

Id say most people that have had major problems with their DSMs drive them hard (I did with my laser) and dont do things right with the modding anyway. Actually, I know its not a small thing but the only problem I had with my laser was the damn timing belt.

Anyway I said light modding, as in intake, exhaust, mbc, boost gauge. I had a blast with my laser racing every stang/camaro that pulled up next to me but I swear on my life Im taking care of this car .
