i found a twin turbo kit for my car and want to get it but will everything addapt to my car with out any major mods

bro thats straight up an ebay kit anything that would be remotley good would cost an arm and leg if your gonna make that big of a change do it right you gotta spend some money i wouldnt recommend it but its your ride so if thats what youll like than shoot make it happen, but really get a larger turbo and ull be fine without the twin

That might be a fun project:hmm: I'm thinking about doing it to my laser rs. just gotta make some manifolds for it. But datz why we call it a project. If everything was just there and easy to do then it wouldnt be a project more like a puzzle or assembling a bike LOL

Wow this is interesting, but with all the supras out there being converted to single turbo and all that can be done on one, why endure the cost of two?

This thread makes me seriously contemplate buying that compound turbo setup in the classifieds section right now... If I only had $3,000 more dollars to throw at this car :hmm: I've always wanted a setup like that for the "WTF factor" when you open your hood.

I LOL'ed at this thread.. Everyone has been making threads like this lately..

I say let him do it. Even though that kit is to seduce VR4 guys.

Look dude, based on your other posts, you shouldn't even be tinkering around with this idea. On top of it, I know for a fact that you would not get extra credit at UTI for attempting or completing this. In fact, you would get very minimal help even from the teachers on this.

If you truly go to UTI, then please, please tell me why you have no grasping on what you are trying to get into.

This is a help forum, yadda, yadda. So take this for what it is, brutal honest help. Drop this idea, go to our tech section and follow the upgrade path. No more trying to make 2 million horsepower when the biggest performance upgrade accomplished was a K&N filter.

I honestly could not agree more with this ;)

I'm not going to knock on your goals or TT a 4g63, anything is possible, BUT you have to realize what you need to do to support the TT and not to put too big of turbos on to avoid power gain loss because it is only a 4 cylinder... and TT set ups are meant for 6 cylinder plus applications. But more power to you dude. Have at it.

i wanted to twin turbo my car because you see so many dsms that have turbos and i got to uti so im pretty good on working on cars and it would be a nice project to do for credits at my school

Seriously man? I went to the same campus and know for a fact that you don't get credits or any of that crap for working on your car. And definitely that you will never be allowed to bring your car to the campus to do the work. And please don't even think any of the instructors will help out. They may give you advice and all that but they are not going to waste their time helping with it unless there is something big in it for them.

That being said, if you are looking into a "universal" twin turbo kit, don't do it. Like others have said, read up on these cars and what they can do. Start off small and don't just throw a big turbo(or twin turbo kit) onto your car and crank the boost. Hopefully you will utilize this site and reap the rewards and benefits that it has to offer you.
