Okay, here's my dilema. Ever since I bought my 98 GSX it has had numrous electrical problems. I couldn't get my battery to charge while driving, so I replaced the alternator. Then it shorted out the power wire to the license plate lights, I know this because it smoked and blew the taillight fuse. About 3 hours after fixing that, my headlight caught on fire. The wires inside of it melted and well, caught on fire. After I replaced the headlight, the large white wire that runs from the fuse box inside the car to the ignition smokes and is turning purple. In addition to that the battery won't HOLD a charge. It will be at 13.9v then 12hrs later 0v. I bought a new battery, same thing. Obviously there is a short somewhere. I have removed the ENTIRE wiring harness out the car completely opened it up and traced each individual wire looking for exposed wires, color distortion, or loose pins, and connectors. All seems well. I have yet to find anything which would drain the battery. I have checked the obvious like leaving lights on so on. Would the next step be to replace the wiring harness with NEW OEM? Has anyone else had an issue like this, and if so how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance for the help.

P.S. In addition to everything above, the injector on cylinder #1 isn't recieving the negative pulse from the ecu. I have tried 3 ecu's with no sucsess. The injector pulses when put in a different cylinder, and the connector is recieving a 12v power supply. The plug on the ecu isn't damaged and the pin is firmly in place.?????
