Should I buy this car?

Hi Guys I was wondering if I should buy this 99 mitsubishi eclipse gs oz rally edition. I will put a link for craigslist so you guys can see. The guy said he has a manifold with a t3 turbo, 440cc injectors, and bov. But i know you need more then that in order to turbo the car. It doesnt matter to me if I get the turbo and all that jazz but im sure he is trying to throw it in for a few extra dollars.

First find out how many miles are on the car and how much he wans for it.I wouldn't waste money on a turbo on that car tho.

Oh sorry i thought it said that in the link. It has 50,000 miles on the engine, 200,000 on the body, but underneath and strut towers looked emaculate. he is asking 3250.

Way to much I payed $3,000 with 80,000 original miles on my 95 turbo talon.Unless he says like $2,000 I woulnd't waste your time and money.

Over priced, i would probably offer him $1500 and try to get him down to like 18. I'd like to know his secret to 35MPG though, i barely hit 25 in my RS.

I have the same exact car minus the turbo with and 137k miles and I paid $2500 this past summer and I thought I jumped on that to fast and should have waited for a better deal.

I got my 96 for $500, but its not anywhere near that condition . Compare prices with others in your area, if dsm's go for alot in your area, it could be a decent deal, who knows. Ultimately its worth what your willing to pay. But i personally wouldn't pay over 2K for it.

thats such a waste of money. just get a gst or gsx in my opinion. why not spend the same amount of money on an engine that is actually made for a turbo from factory. what i mean by that is a gst will outlast a boosted rs/gs any day. and it will hold it's value a lot longer. just my two cents.

OP is looking for an opinion and i gave him one. so take your whining elsewhere. at least try to be somewhat useful if you're going to post in a thread like this.

so its a none turbo w/turbo exhaust?? and is gonna include "just the turbo" if the deal is right? oz rally edition? looks to me as if they just have oz rally rims on it cause they fit. sounds fishy to me. i would ask how they are getting that good of gas mileage on that and i would also question the maintenance done to it. do your research bro and look deeply into the detail of the car. i would like to know how its a turbo exhaust on a none turbo car.. unless of course a turbo exhaust bolts straight to the headers like it would on a o2 housing on a turbo dsm, im unsure of that..

Well Its not for me, a friend is looking to buy it. But thanks for your guys opinion. I know there is now way he gets that much gas mileage. Its just some kid that thinks he knows what he is talking about. He said that the turbo that he wanted to throw in was a t3 but he didnt know what kind of t3 and all he said was that its one of the "higher end" ones. He said that it could hold 20psi and up to 320hp and that he would want one thousand more with the turbo included. haha, talk about bs. it had a 420a engine so i didnt know if it was a oz rally edition.
