Short run intercooler installation

Did the search & Google and I'm not satisfied with what I've found... does anyone have any clear pics and/or a "how to" for installing a short run intercooler piping in a 1G AWD car? I'm not looking for any specific brand/kit...

I assume there is some trimming/cutting that needs to take place.... this is what I'm trying to see.

The trimming really depends on what core you use, the ETS one is 3.0 inches and needs trimming. I know cxracing has a FMIC but its 2.75. Obviously it needs less trimming, might not need any.

Go to the punishment racing site nice pics of short route anything esle look in the engine galleries no real specific place to find short route pics, i would also search for short route fmic on the forum.

Depends on the kit, since they dont all take the same route.
