Well over the last couple days, I've noticed that when I shift into 3/4th gear, it feels like I'm slicing into something. No grinding, no noises, just that slicing into something sensation. Could this be early signs or synchro wear?

It could be bad fluid, when was it changed out or at all? If it was syncros, it would be kind of a grindy sound, and you can feel it in the shifter as well. Could be that those gears are possibly missing a tooth or part of a tooth, wont know for sure, unless feel it for myself.

Well I replaced the fluid about 2 months ago with synthetic atf, which is what it calls for. But it's not always though it only happens sometimes.

Is your car an automatic? I ask because if so, then your fourth would be "drive/OD". But you saying you shifted into third and fourth I assume its stick. If it is stick I would suggest 80w-90 gear lube. NOT ATF.

I agree with you on not useing ATF in a manual car. But alot of people on this site say to use it for some reason, I have no clue why.

OP: Redline MT-90 is one of the best fluids to put in a manual tranny.

No on the gear lube. Either run ATF 4 or Amsol synchromesh is your best bet.

Yeah I thinks it calls for a dealer only fluid, but I think Atf is generic so that's what i used.
