basically them trying to make a buck. go to ebay look up "abec bearings" 608zz grab the cheapeast ones there that are shipped. I got 4 of them for 1.25 shipped.

Solution
Exactly. The second set is just a standard roller-blade/skateboard bearing. If you have an old set of rollerblades, you can make your own. Here's a how-to: How-to.

I've got six bearings on my coffee table right now, waiting for a nice day to put them in.
