Hi...
Okay so my stalk leather shifter is literally coming apart at the seems.
So I am trying to take it off and replace it but I can't get the dern thing off. I remember reading some were that you had to turn it counter clock wise to remove it and I got it started but I doesn't seem to be coming off. I'm afraid to keep turning in fear that I'm going the wrong way about it. My method of removal has been a bolt barker and a strap used for removing oil filters. (not exactly Sane but it is easier than by hand) Is there some trick to removing it or do I just need to keep going?...oh yeah, I drive a '90 TSi.
