Shifter - 1991 with symborski shift kit
Cables - unknown year with bearings installed for bushings
Shep cable bracket hard bushings.

I bought a rolling shell and my shep 2 from different people during my buying phase for the project. I'm now getting everything above installed in the car. I noticed that i did not have a transmission cable bracket so i sourced one from (what i was told) was another 91. The cables are a bit tight but do fit. The issue is when i place the cable clips in the bracket the cables are binding and i lose all side to side in the shifter. If i remove the clip it comes back. Its placing the cables at an extreme angle causing the bind. I read that there are 3 different 1G brackets and a buddy had another one from what i was told was a 90. That also did not work. Any ideas? i attached some pics of the brackets I have.

In building the car basically from scratch I was unable to take the majority apart to know if/what im missing or where things go. my issue was attempting to bolt the bracket i pictured right to the block not knowing there was another plate used to raise it up. The "shifter difference" vfaq wasn't what i needed but the pictures at the bottom showed the truth. Thanks for all the help! :hellyeah:
