So apparently, I sheared off the two engine mount bolts on the mount on the right side of the engine. I had another long thread trying to diagnose what was wrong with my car and tonight after taking a good look at things, I saw the bolts.

This is definitely an easier fix than I thought it was going to be.

Does anyone know the size of the two bolts in there?

You do mean leftside LOL. I have the same problem I sheared all three off the two studs and the bolt. I have yet to get the old ones out yet. My bolts sheered off b/c the car was driven by the previons onwer driven around and whailing on bad motor mounts. All 4 mounts were bad he only changed the engine side and he gave me the trans side in a new in a box.

Also post how easy of a time you have pulling the broken studs and bolts out. And what you used.

haha...well right side when looking at the engine but drivers side for all intensive purposes.

Ill let u know. In addition to needing to know the size of the bolts, does anyone have an idea of why this happened?

Do i have to replace the entire mount or can I just replace the bolts.

Where can I get the bolts. I called my local mitsu dealer and they dont carry them.

I'm assuming you meant you have no threads left on the motor mount studs?

If so, remove them and replace them with OEM studs. This is because the OEM studs have a taper in them that you won't find in a hardware store stud.

No I literally sheared the bolts off. I already removed them and need to find some new bolts.

Can you specify what specifically you're talking about? I'm just not seeing it.

There are 2 studs in the motor mount (as you can see, with the nuts on them). The third hole (to the right of the two studs in the picture) is a bolt. All of those are removable and replaceable.

So if you can show me what you're talking about, then maybe I can understand the problem.

yes the two long studs is what I am talking about. Sorry about the clarity. The two top bolts/studs in the top middle of the picture above.

Where can I get them?

do you know where i can get them? I googled it without any luck.

I couldnt find them on extreme psi or jnz.

turns out it isnt sheared after all. I finally took the mount off for a closer look and it just ripped through the threads.

Does anyone know the thread pattern, Im gonna have to tap it.
