one short question if i have in & out shaft play on my turbo will this effect it. When i push the turbine wheel forward and back i can hear the shaft hitting something. how long will my turbo last

Generally a small amount of radial shaft play is considered acceptable, but axial (in-and-out) shaft play normally indicates a turbo that's about to hang it up. I'd say enjoy it while it lasts if it's still making decent power without turning your tailpipe into a chimney, but start saving for the upgrade (or at least a rebuild). :)
