Hey guys, over the summer I'm going to be throwing almost all the money I can get my greedy little hands on into my car. I was just hoping I could get a verification on my setup plan so I don't wind up blowing the motor up.

First off, gonna get rid of this weak T-25 and get a EVO III 16g. The 34mm flapper is supposed to help combat boost creep correct? I wont be planning on taking the car over 18-20 psi ever. As for BOV, I'm thinking Type S, this is recircuble correct?

Gonna need to be able to control the boost and this is where I havent decided where to go. I know electronic boost controllers are great, but what real advantages do they have over manual ones?

Once I have that I'll run it around 16 psi until I get my fuel system upgraded.
Which will be done with this kit: http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16346&cat=458&page=1
What is the difference between disc and ball injectors? Will 580's be able to support a 16g at 20psi?

After that, Gonna need cooling. I have looked at the Johnny Race Car FMIC and have heard good things about them around town. What would you recommend as sizing for this setup?

So, 580's with a EVO III 16g w/ 34mm flapper, a Johnny Race Car FMIC, 190lph, SAFC II, Type S bov, random Intercooler piping.

Does this seem complete? What would you add or take away? My goals are 290-320ish hp.

PS: I know there has been posts like this before, yet I just can't find the peace of mind until its actually been me making the questions and getting my own answers. Thanks for understanding and helping :thumb:

Definately add a datalogger, some sort of aftermarket intake, and a turbo back exhaust, ported 02 housing and exhaust manifold, and you should be good to go.

Yes the 34mm flapper will help you combat boost creep. On a side note, i want to know how you plan on running 16 psi(on an evo III) BEFORE upgrading your fuel system.

I was under the impression that if I ran it on a lower psi...such as 16or lower like what the stock fuel system can handle, then I would be ok. Please, by all means correct me if I'm wrong.

well if you are shooting for the 300 range/18-20 psi, you are going to need to add a few things. First off I would reconsider the 190 pump, look into a 255. Either way you are going to need an afpr, and if you are like me bigger is better. To put down some real numbers you are going to upgrade that factory intercooler, the johnny racecar is a good choice, and should be right in top of your list. the greddy is a good choice, but i would rather a 1g bov. They are tried and proven. again this is just my .02
