Hi,

I was just on the hiway when my Service Engine Soon started appearing. Everything was running pretty good but when i moved on the street and started stopping there is this vibration like the car is shaking. The service engine soon sign doesn't stop blinking and this vibration stops after I accelerated and switch to 2-3 gear (I am on automatic transmission). I just parked the car and went to get a OBDII but Autozone are out :(. I am afraid of driving that car to the mechanic as he is 4 miles away and I do not want to break in the middle. There is this strange smell but it is not burned oil. The engine runs ok after I accelerate to 20mph+ but starts vibrating under that. Does anyone knows what can be the problem and whether I can take it to the mechanic or better tow it?

Thanks,

Svetlin
