serpentine belt replacement?

well I just broke the serpentine belt on my RS and I was wondering how hard is it to replace? and how I would put anouther one on? my haynes manual is not clearly telling me how to put one on? if anybody knows that would be great thanks in advance ~Dustin

power steering or alternator belt?

a rs does not have a serpentine belt. it has two belts ps and alt. they are both very easy to install. loosen the pulley and adjust the tnesion bolt. too easy.

^^^ it is extremly easy. I have replaced my powersteering/AC belt on the side of the road with just a 10mm ratchet

powersteering belt is the one that broke...so I just loosen the tension pulley? and tigten it back up? do I need a torque wrench?

nope, i think there is 2 bolts for the front tensioner, but i dunno its been a while. ill check when i get home

yeah man, it's cake. I watched my buddy do both his belts on his 99rs in like 15 minutes, with simple tools like they said.
