seperating the trannyand engine

What do I have to all do to separate the block from the tranny? I did everything down to the bellhousing bolts and it has a gap but I know that the clutch ass. needs to be done . What about the transfer? Need to take it out to?

Time to get a service manual maybe? The transfer case MUST be removed to completely seperate the engine and tranny.

I finally got the damn thing out! I only had to take the transfer out then the inspection cover then she just slipped right out. Yes you can take the block out without taking the cv's off. Now time for the new one to go in!!
