This blows I was at a wedding and it was my girlfreinds sister getting married I got stuck helping out on sunday. I really was looking forward to coming. lets try to do it agian I am sory I didn't make it I was really excited to make it out there. I even live in federal Way! :barf:

This thread is entertaining, since there is still a partially operating NWDSM group on Yahoo! since 1998 and there is another very active group of NW DSMs/GVR4s/Evos (dare I say all of the fastest ones are there too, 9 sec Talon, numerous 10 sec cars) that is out there. They just like to hide.

Pretty damn sure that was the car at Pina a long time ago when it was getting the 2.4. Also, even further before that when it was with the old owner, it was *seen* at excessive speeds on I-5 which is a situation that is on film, online... WTF

Ramses you might want to hurry up on getting that 2gb conversion done. I'm working on getting you a full stock body kit from a guy who is about to go with a body kit on his car. I'll let you know when to jump on it.
 
That IS a good turnout for a 1st meet in the rain. haha I wish I could have come and made it 9.

Yeah I wasn't very happy when it hit me.... (I wasn't going to make the meet.) Damn I was really looking forward to it too. The worse news is that I need a engine rebuild, and that's not going to happen until JAN. :( Well.... If I have to get a rebuild... :rolleyes: Guess it'll just have to be a 2.3 then :D


From what I understand there is a big group of DSM's in the NW, But its damn near like a ghost town in here.... I don't get it

Talk to Lucas English down near Portland for the rebuild, he will get you setup nicely on the rebuild. Even if it is a small drive to get it down, it is completely worth it. Most of the core NW DSM guys have been around for a while now and got sick of it here at Tooners, have their own site and most have ditched DSMs and have Evos.

OOoo, another 2Gb conversion going on. Bet I'll have mine done first, :)

Although I am only doing the front bumper painted with the silver trim to match the rest of the car.

I 2nd Lucas! :thumb: Awesome guy and extremely knowledgable. And I can agree with that 2nd comment as well. I'm on the other site that you are referring to, have been for a while. The annual runs/drives are awesome and it's hilarious on the forum, but I've never had a problem over here. I met Slugs on here back in '04 when I first got my DSM and he took me over there. Good idea! :p

I 3rd that...ROFL I haven't met Lucas, but have seen him run at PIR and Pacific and have seen his work, just hit his site up and make the drive if you can, you won't be dissapointed...I too am up on the 'other site' and it's friggn funny, but you just got to have a little fun w/ it and you will be hooked.:thumb:

For sure, I also e-mailed a guy on tuners here who has a white stock 2gb bumper on a 2g that is green that he is selling, so if it doesn't sell, then he will sell me the already painted, in good condition bumper... But keep me posted Rand, I appreciate it...:thumb:

I would like to restate bigrands idea of a meat at the Northgate mall, and introduce my self; My name's Sean, and I have an addiction... I'm really starting to run out of money. In fact, I already have my next four pay checks spent and that doesn't include rent.
