When we hung up, my buddy who works for DHL called me up, b/c he was at Mnt. Mitsu and they were baffled by this too and you were the one on the phone I think......so he asked me where the boost solenoid was on a 1g......hope that is it and that you don't really need it, but read the thread and determine, b/c I think that is right...

Myself and one of my good friends (Donmagicjuan) are planning on meeting up with you guys at the commons mall on Sunday. We are actually going to be skipping our very own car club meeting to meet up. I was curious if this has to stay a DSM exclusive meet or can we invite a couple of the other members from Midnight Motorsports (my car club)???? Mostly heavily modified WRXs and some american muscle like a GTO and Camaro? We are mostly a track team but love to go on mini-drives. Like the one from Bremerton to Federal Way. Don and myself are planning on coming regardless I just didn't want to invite any of my other friends and step on anybody's toes.

This isn't my call, but I would like some of my friends too, who have other cars come, but not my call and it doesn't matter to me, but it would be cool to just have evo's and dsms there, just this time, b/c I even told my friends just to roll w/ some of us who are coming in evos and dsms.... I will leave it up to 93GSX4me though to make that call or take a vote, but I would say just dsms this late in the meet plans for this time..idk though...

Thx Clipsit, Im thinking ( im not majority ... ) "more the merrier". Im a DSM guy - but Im also a car nut - Lets just make sure all the DSM's got room to park together & make an impromptu "other" spot right next to DSM ? What do u all think ? I got an EVO buddy too so I know how it is. We can all learn from others - I just want the DSM group to become tight - grow tight - so lets park together and keep together & make them welcome , as guests of our meet.

i just happened to find this thread and it sounds good everything you're planing here
I live in Redmond, and i would love to drive down there with my dsm but my dsm is broken for a week now and i need a new rear spindle and i dont think i will be able to find one tomorrow and put everything back. but i will try to go with my friend in his subaru to check out your dsm's. if we go we will probably get there around 1:45 because he gets off work at 1:00

Well I kept reading all over this forum, so many people doing little get-togethers - I counted it up and it hit well in to the 20+ . I figured those are just the ones talking about meeting and figured the numbers had to be much more... we will see who talks and who meets .

Success! the car is up and running again. I put my stock uicp back together, and hooked up my boost source the way the other post said and she started right up. I boost a couple of extre pounds now but i just assume thats because the bigger wastegate that comes with the evo316g. I just have a couple of questions now.
1 when the car has been at idle for a while my oil pressure drops all the way down to almost the L and my car puffs a little smoke from running way rich.
2 when i start the car at first it doesnt want to stay started at all, and it will only idle at 600 until the car has warmed up a bit.

However, it was nice to be able to drive her again, especially with the boost at 12 lbs now I just want to make sure it is normal for the oil pressure to be that low and for the car to start puffin that smoke when idling for a while. Thanks everyone for the help!

I've got bad news snif snif
I ran my car hard late friday night while I was out tunning. Some major problems have shown up. It looks like I've got some blow-by. My compression is up and down. My dip stick keeps popping out, and my oil pressure gauge spikes up and down. I keep getting oil splatter al in my engine bay from the dip stick popping out. It sucks! I need to hold off on driving it until I get things straitened out.

This really is pissin me of! My car needs a new battery, and you guys are meeting today. Hmmmm....... Well, if I don't end up meeting with my girl, then I might show up. I started a thread earlier, but this is much better. Thank you 93GSX4me for organizing all this! If you see a Black Audi A6 parking near (wouldn't want to be close to all the DSM's , then that'll be me. We definitley need more meets later on, as I would like to drive my car up.

I really wanted to make it out there to the commons but this turbo install is going slower than i though i just have to reconnect the exhaust run the oil lines hook up the gauges and a few little things like put my front kit back on and mold it in so it looks like i won't be able to make i really hope there will be another meet soon so i can meet all you guys and see other DSM's...

Yay for the meet. Props to 93gsx for getting this together. it was a good time, and i think that 8 dsm's and an evo is not a bad showing at all. Let's get this going again soon, hopefully on a dry day, I'll put some of the pictures up that I took. Look for 'em in the photo section of the forum.

Thanks everyone who showed. Yah - I counted 8 + 1 Evo. I know there were a few that couldn't make it due to turbo install or battery etc...Shite happens, we look forward to seeing the rest next time ! 8 for the first show in the current nasty weather ... I consider that a big success for a first meet ! I got all your info and will compile a contact roster & flyer ( to invite others if you spot other DSM ) . We saw a few Honda's that didnt seem to want to stop by n chat... and I dont blame them. To see almost 10 turbo cars, stock or not was pretty cool. Props to the Mall Rent-A-Cops for "keeping security tight" . Who's in charge of this ? Anywho -I'll leave the forum open to suggestions for the next meet, and the when n wheres. GREAT MEET ALL ! if we plan on meeting again on another poor weather day, or even a nice day....NOrthgate mall, target/best buy parking garage. IF its sunny, we can meet up ontop and get some sick photo shots. If its rainy just head down a level and its dry.
