Hey, I really don't know much about DSMs but my cousin has shown me the way.. i have a 99 eclipse n/t turbo... i would like to meet up with other DSM owners that wont give me crap for not having a 4g63.. Hell i had no idea about eclipses until i bought mine.. i tried to replace the 420a with a 4g63 when i replaced my motor but the shop wouldn't do it.. So i have to make do with what i have... lemme know about future meets i live out in Orting....Can drive anywhere though

Hey I would help on Saturday w/ the 420a, but its PLU's last home football game at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. 1:30 kickoff, if anyone is interested......anyway, I def will let some of the guys know, I left some messages too, I will have the other guys roll w/ the evos, b/c those are the only other mitsu realted guys in the group......later and lets tell all of OUR dsm friends guys! The most crowded section is where the Borders/Starbucks entrance is. If you face the mall and head to your right further down, you'll see a Washington Mutual bank a little ways down the lot. Somewhere close to that end of the lot would be a great place, as there are normally tons spots open all the time.

Nothing too major (need new bumper and a small dent in the hood rounded out), but definitely an excuse to convert to 2Gb.

Thanks for the clarification Tobuk...That'll be sweet to see the 2gb conversion. I am going to do it myself and I have my 2gb lights in already, b/c they look nicer...I think I am going to cut some... JDM holes in my 2ga bumper b/c I am going to throw it away anyways, so maybe I will do that this Friday before I show up on Sunday... I had the 2gb conversion done on my last dsm, but I will prob do it this winter or in January on the gsx...so I am assuming you will be there too? Good to hear we got some more guys coming out then...keep 'em coming guys...

Yeah I should be there. I'll see if I can go find the guy in my neighborhood with a 1G... I don't know him, but his car is clean as they come. I don't know if it's a turbo though....

But yeah I'm looking at getting the parts in for the front end within a month or so. I don't think I'm going to do a full conversion. I love the two-tone too much, and I've seen one car with a 2Gb front with a gray trim to match the 2Ga skirts and tail. It looked awesome, but i can't find the picture again (it was a red car). The body shop I'm having paint the bumper can do it no problem, so I'm getting excited to see how it'll turn out. It'll be nice to finally have a bumper in perfect shape, as i bought the car with a small crack in the bumper and plenty of scraped on the bottom because of the crappy drop. And it'll be fun to do it myself... Anyway....

I think just about everyone with a modified 1G, or early 2G is constantly working on something. Its all good.

I even had to order a TPS sensor yesterday, cause it's been throwing codes the last few days. Oh well If you love what these little cars can do ....then its all worth it

I"ve got a 2gb bumper at a shop in olympia if anyone is looking to pick it up for cheap...its currently black.

Also Jay, you should get started on dissasebeling() everything friday night....drain the oil from the oil pan etc. And buy any extra fittings or tools you think you might need in advance. Start early saturday and just hit for like 12hrs straight.

Actually on friday when i get home from work. im gonna pull it into the garage and take the front kit off, drain the oil, make my marks for drilling and alot of the prelim stuff and then on saturday my cousin and my mechanic friend will be over to help plus my neighbor is commin over to... In the directions it says 1 man 10 hours to complete so if i have like 3 or 4 people it might go faster baring any complications....

Yeah Randy, you know im going to do my best to get my butt out there sunday, i just gotta find out what this darn sensor is, shucks had no damn idea and i get off too late to run to pina, it has two vacuum niples on one side, and an electrical plug on the other side and was mounted on the top of my intake, anyone got any ideas? i would love to take a pic for you guys, but i have no camera. But if i can get that, i will throw my stock intake and UICP back together to head out there. I will talk to kyle as well, but jeremy im pretty sure will be a no go. they still havent gotten his car running i dont think.

Complications is the thing man. Don't forget to fill her up with premium this week. Don't forget any gaskets or oil ect.
