As far as a meeting spot, I suggested earlier that we meet on the side of the lot where the Washington Mutual bank is. It's the farthest parking away from the mall and there are always tons of spots open on that side (people always park by the Borders/Starbucks)

Would that work for people? Any other ideas? Should be pretty easy to find people... hopefully.
 
Just got my new boost gauge all wired up! 11psi FTW!! :p Spikes to 13psi in 2nd gear I've noticed...

This also sounds like a good spot too. I am not as familiar w/ what used to be known as the seatac mall, but this works for me, anyone have any reason, say why now or forever hold your peace? I have absolutly everything.. the only thing is i won't have the car painted where i had to take the front kit off . i have a fully molded blitz body kit on there but i won't let that stop me from rollin up there..... whats alittle paint...ROFL ....I think i have all the bases covered see you guys on sunday.....

That guy read my mind - I cruised around the mall last night - He's right - The Mutual Bank area is wide open . So -

Maybe go to do a few dyno pulls @ Xtrweme Auto Salon ? I'll ask for a bulk discount ... anyone interested in a DSM dyno pull or save for another time ?
 
Dyon them I want to if we can get a good enough deal. Also does extreme auto salon have an AWD dyno?

Yah they do although they admit Axiom Motorsports is cutting edge and better . Thats y I like Xtreme , they will tell you whats best even if its not them . GREAT customer service, and nice guy. I'll call him today .

Me and Rand can tell you guys why on Sunday, but they are good if you want the best prices on parts, but unless you drive a 240, evo, sti, or honda, you get treated a little different...IMHO. I hear they have a new guy, Moses I think his name is, tuning over there at AXIOM, but its up to you if you want to, I won't go there to dyno though. ;)
 
Alright guys, sonyslave figured out what i broke, and its the boost solenoid. Now, no one can even get me this part but the dealer (or so they all say), so can anyone help me out in this department? Maybe have an extra? Also, is there a way to bypass replacing this? like if i were to upgrade to the GM maf with translator or will i need this no matter what i do? thanks everyone for the help!

P.S. I've got nothing against axiom, just a falling out that just had to happen, and I was in the middle of it a picked a side, based on the way I was being treated at that time...great customer service before that time though.

I didn't mean that you had something against them, just was trying to get my ponit across...:D I agree, they prob do still have great customer service, but we each had our own reasons we left, but what I said about them too is true, but not for everyone...:rolleyes: I would highly reccomend them for parts, but I currently don't know anything about their tuners, however Jun knows his stuff there, but I don't know about the Moses guy, but I haven't heard any bad stuff...HAPPY TUNING though...:thumb:

Correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't obsession92tsi, just replace it w/ a GM boost solenoid b/c I thought I have heard of this? Or is it the GM map sensor you can use, or does it have to be a mitsu one, b/c I know some junkyards that might have some for the time being? Or this may be the same part, w/ different names for it...:confused: Hey sorry I missed your call too, keith, I will being giving you a call here in the next hour or so, I had some meetins and stuff for work and I work tonight at midnight, so we will figure this thing out though, so you are there on Sunday.:rocks:
 
Isnt the boost solenoid just the plastic stock non-adjustable boost controler?

If yes... Why don't you just add a manual boost controler instead of buying another non-adjustable stock controler.

Here's a cheap-y for now.... and it'd probably last you for awhile. You don have to get this one but if you get a differant MBC just make sure its the ball and spring type.

Ok i called Xtreme , they are moving soon so no on the AWD dyno - Axiom is on wait. SO yes def. 1300 @ The Mutual bank area at he Commons Mall. I will be there 30 min prior to make sure you all see some DSM .
 
Hey guys, randy and i were talking about if it were possible to just replace the solenoid with a manual or some other kind of aftermarket boost controller BUT the boost solenoid has an electrical end that something plugs into, so i was wondering if i would throw some kind of code if that electric plug wasnt pluged into the device? does anyone know? I tried calling pina, but i couldnt get a damn answer. Clipsit, i tried callin you again today but i got no answer, sorry i didnt answer last night, i get up pretty early for work, but give me a call anytime tonight because i dont work weekends. thanks everyone for the help! Im doin my best to get out there sunday
