Hey guys my 95 talon seems to be running more boost than I expected for new intercooler, piping, exhaust removal, and Bov. Last pull made 15 psi with no internal upgrades at all. Just wondering what I should do. I don’t want to leave it as is if I’m going to tear up bearings and stuff. Thanks for the help in advance.

I would check the waste gate actuator plumbing to the factory boost solenoid. Check if the actuator is working and not stuck. Next on your list should be a wideband, injectors, AFPR and ECMlink. As long as it’s not going lean or knocking the bottom end can handle a lot of boost with the proper tune.

The wastegate is calibrated for the factory exhaust backpressure, so the boost pressure is going to increase when you reduce the exhaust restriction. With a good tune and enough fuel, you'll be fine.

Thankfully I do have a AFR gauge just need to finish wiring it up, also what do you guys recommend for injectors, Afpr and ecmlink? I was told to get DSMlink but since I’m still learning this stuff I don’t know what to look for and what not to look for

Ok cool, how hard is it to find tuners for our cars? I’m in TN

Is it the stock t25 turbo?

You can try to run as must boost as your want without hurting the engine on the stock turbo. The t25 doesnt produce enough air flow to damage the engine.

I think the most I never ran was 21 psi, it would peak there at 3800 rpms and back down to 12 psi at redine
