Jan 2008 I leave for my second deployment, first one to Afghanistan. So a couple months into it I purchase a PTT twin disk clutch, FP3575 journal bearing turbo and an Eagle Weisco combo 2.3 long block assy. All of these parts were new not installed but purchased from private sellers not vendors.
During this deployment I spent 8-10k on major parts and supporting mods. I went home for R&R in Oct 08 to find that the engine block was damaged during shipping and I didnt feel it was suitable for my build after seeing the damage. I was very diappointed about this so I decided to install the 3575. Well I wanted a complete upgrade so I ordered a Tial 44 and complete Fp exhaust mani and 2.5 o2 housing, and intake setup with a JMF SMIM and some 1000cc injectors. I installed the turbo and exhaust mods and had fun boosting for about a week before I went back to Afghanistan. WHAT A BLAST!
