So here it is 4 years 9 months and several thousand dollar later. I learned ALOT of lessons over the last few years. (mostly being DONT BE CHEAP) So my plans for the car once I get home are this.
First Im going to strip the drivetrain out and HOPEFULLY get it to the body shop and have it painted inside and out. I have my original 96 block still which will see the machine shop and then I will install a Manley forged 100mm crank Manley Ibeam rods and Weisco HD 2.3 stroker pistons.
The head will get re worked and Ferrera valves will be installed with a nice port job.
l19 head studs and Mitsu mls or Felpro mls head gasket
2200 cc injectors and ECM tuning v3
Im rebuilding the suspension again with a DG setup and Im replacing the front strait arms with new ones that have the bushings replaced with spherical bearigs, Ill also be replacing the rear upper control arms.
I have a set of Cobra brakes for the front and may get a set of EVO rear brakes.
Mishumoto radiator and dual fan shroud.
Parts that I hope to get are the NEW QM gear drive twin disk clutch, a TRE modified EVO3 rea diff with the clutch mod that has been talked about on here rescently.
Ill be home In Jan and start the process of rebuilding again. Ill take pics and update as I go.
