HEy all THis is a really simple question and I am kicking myself that I cant answer it but here goes. I recently bought a pair of NEX adjustable racing seats but I cant seem to track down some mounting brackets. The seats allready have sliders but I cant find the brackets!!! ????? I want to put them in bad but I dont think you can modify the stock brackets to fit?? CAN YOU???
someone help me out if you can find them or if you can mount them stock!

Stock brackets are a pita! Go to www.mmotorsports.com Thats where I got mine. I got two 4point harnesses and the brackets for 170 shipped.

thanks man. Really appreciate the tip. It says in the description that you may need to do some crossmembering for drilling? First what is cross membering and is that so you can mount the sliders in place on the brackets?? Also do you have NEX seats? thanks

hey looking for some help on making some custom seat brackets. i was wondering if anyone had a template for making pieces. i noticed that the bolts are offset. i could eventually figure it out but i was hoping to get a little input and suggestions from those who have tried it before. thanks for any help you can give.

Its not worth fooling with. Go to www.mmotorsports.com Tell them that Chris Wilson sent you. You want a set of weaponR seat brackets. They work great, and cost around a 100.

I did a search and really came up with nothing.

I have a set of racing seats and i made some brackets forthem from the stock ones. But the problem is that i sit to high. Anyone have any suggestions or pics of some custom rails?

I did these for a set of seats in my car, there was probably an entire day's worth of fabricating and installing. I built the rails out of 1" square tube (for the rails closest to the door) and 1 1/4 angle iron for the inside rails. if you want to do them yourself you can pm me and I will give you an idea of where to start them, they are complex because the floor/mounts for the stock seats aren't by any means straight.

No. They have different mounting points. 1G seats have more support and are more comfortable anyway.

Well since I replaced my stock Evo seats with Sparcos I decided to try and fit the Recaros in my Eclipse. I still had a pair of sparco adapters for the Eclipse so I decided to give it a try. To my surprise the brackets fit perfectly on the Evo seats with the exeption of drilling two small holes. Each seat took 20 minutes to install and man do I love them in the eclipse.

They are pretty light I dont know the exact difference(actually lighter than my Sparcos). Im changing out the steering wheel to match and might even have the rear seats done to match. The difference in comfort and stability is huge. Thanks.
