Lol, at least you tried :D

Next time you connect, take note of what firmware version is installed. It should say on the ECMLink info page when you first connect.

so i got the new software and played with the interpolation feature, very cool. i was curious though, when you made your adjustments did you select a large square with one un-auto-corrected cell on top right corner and bottom left to get accurate blend in the square or did you do one line at a time verticle or horizontal? i tried several ways wand was not able to see the same results as yours compared side to side. and also, the software vs the firmware, whats the diff? i found in the downloads section the new version listed windows complete install, downloaded and installed. but i didn't see firmware in there. and last question (sorry so many but your knowledgeable) on the downloads page there is the "early access" section that shows "windows (update only) created jan 3, 2013. is that like a beta of changes before a new full update is released?

I selected a column of cells, beginning with cell (2500, 20.2) and ending at (2500, 25.7), which highlights only four cells total, vertically.

Firmware is the internal programming of the chip installed on the ECU. It is responsible for all of the behind-the-scenes action.

Software is concerned with how the user interfaces with the ECU. It is what you see when you run the ecmlink program.

Yup :thumb:
