i install safc2 the one with blue face w/turning knob onto my 99 gst spyder...i went and got the vfaq diagram and try different other kind of installation but the safc2 would not turn on..? i'm not sure why..i think i pretty much got all the wire connected right...i did have the afc neo and connected in my car once and it turned on perfectly...but not with this one..i bought if from ebay for 200.00...i don't know if i got rip off or not..is there any way of telling if the afc2 is in working condition? oh yeah, and the car has bad idle when starts..

Well, not saying this is the problem or not but it could be a defective unit. I bought one brand new and had the same thing happened. I sent it back and they gave me a new one and it worked fine. Hopefully this is not the case, and you just connected a wrong wire or something :).

Check to make sure all your wires are hooked up correctly. Double check the power and ground on the SAFC if it is not turning on. You could probably just hook the SAFC right up to the battery if you are worried that it doesn't work... if you get it coming on but just not working correctly, you should be looking at the only wire you actually cut and spliced the unit in-line with - the actual air flow reading wire. Just double check your wires man, good luck!
