I've been tuning my GSX with a SAFC2 on pump gas. What I would like to do is also tune it on Race Fuel (or at least 100 octane) for track days. Does the correction work such that if I properly tuned with pump gas then ran the car long enough with race gas to tune and recorded the settings from both I could then switch up the settings depending on what fuel I was running at that time? Are the adjustments instant or do they take a while to adjust like the actual fuel trims?

Im guessing you could write down the settings for each and then plug those back in when you switch with some minor adjustments

SAFC2 has 2 maps setting wich enables you to chosee between 2 fuel maps ie File1 - File 2 .

Sweet...good to know. I'm installing mine this week so that helps to know.

hmmmm must have missed that feature, I'll look into that.

That also goes back to one of the questions I had regarding the corrections and how rapidly they occur. Being that there are 2 maps available I would assume that the correction must be instant and not something that occurs over time? So, in theory I could run map 1 (file 1) set up for pump fuel running 15psi untill the tank is dry, coast into a race shop, put in 5 gallons of c16, turn the boost up to 25psi and switch over to the other map (file 2) and punch it, assuming both maps are properly tuned for the fuel, boost level etc?
