I have been trying to tune my car with the Apex 2 SAFC and it seems not to be working properly. I'm going to put as much info down here as i can remember at work from my logger and SAFC. Maybe someone can pick up what im doing wrong. Im currently trying to tune the Low Throttle.

Car idles at about 55psi fuel I have a Vortex SFMU - Stock Fuel Injectors

When i have the 1000rpm set at 0 the max i get out of the O2v is about .76v. Currently i raised it as high as +45 and the max i get is .86v. That seems a little much to me. I thought i would throw it over the .92v spot or get a CEL. Even at other RPM ranges with the SAFC in the +40's I cant seem to get it to go over .86-.88V. Are the stock injectors that small? i was thinking of getting bigger. Or should i raise the idle FP to 60psi

Also wanted to note that I do get a CEL after the 3rd cycle of starting the car. I think it might be my O2 on the cat, but im not possitive yet. I dont think it has anything to do with me not able to tune.

Also remember this is a 420a, 16g hahn turbo setup. Hi Flow cat, Missing link on MAP. walbro 255 intank

Any ideas??

Do you have any way to monitor your fuel trims? I would think that if you have raised your base fuel pressure and are adding fuel via SAFC then your tune is very rich. O2 volts are useless, people will say shoot for .88-.92 at wot or whatever, but the fact is those numbers are meaningless from car to car. Are you using a stock fuel pump?

I may be able to monitor that I'm using a palm with Palm'n'Stein software installed on it. What should i be aiming for if that is the way to tune or is it pretty self explanitory. Everything i have read said to use the glorious bouncing O2v.

The fuel pump is an Intake Walbro 255

You can't tune to you o2 voltage on closed loop, you only can tune to voltage on wide open throttle. As stated before, need to look at fuel trims.

You can't tune by using O2 volts at wot either, it varies from vehicle to vehicle.
