it can if you do the blue wire mod which isnt recommended. but buying an autometer a/f gauge will be mostly futile, you could do a little tuning off of it but you should really have a wideband. lean out your mixture with the s-afc to gain power.

Danny you would just get on the dyno to tune it correctly.....Which means we in south fl tune it once a year when Brenden does his yearly dyno (3 runs for 40 bucks w/ wideband o2) if your really nice, like me, you can get him to tune it for you and give you a couple extra runs....

When is this dyno deal? I'll drive a couple miles for that. Plus some expert tuning help is always good.

Brandon does the dyno runs, it is at Speed Injected (highly recomended dsm shop).

He actually posts on this forum when he does it, just check on the community section (south east of course ) He usually does one in the begining of the year (Late February/Early March) and one towards the end (Late August/Early September).

Well, I slapped my SAFC2 on my NT and banged out another 5hp to the crank, and like 6 or 7 lbs of torque. I do plan on going turbo, but I wanted to see what it could do with out it. It worked just like the 2gnt mod guide said it would so I"m pleased. YOu can see my dyno sheet on a thread called "dyno'd my 99NT".

Anyone have any tips on how to tune the air fuel maps. The guy who did mine is used to hondas mostly and tried his best, he tried to make sure all of the air fuel mixtures were inbetween 13-13.9, and he did a good job in my opinon, but if there is any other ideas that would be great. Like what else can you change on your (besides the
SAFC settings) to tune my car (check the mod list) The guy who tuned my car got 20hp out of a h22 in a civic hatch using a vtech controller. (162hp@wheels to 182hp@wheels) So he knows how to do hondas. I'm trying to get him into the DSM world.
