Ijust got a 90 TSi AWD. When I turn the car off all the electronice reset themselves when the car is turned off. The Radio, turbo timer, and SAFC-II are all affected. Does anyone have a clue what is happening to the car. It started about 30 minutes after I bought the car yesterday. At first I thought it was just the SAFC, but then the previous owner told me about the radio resetting everytie the car turned off. Then I noticed that the turbo timer was resetting too. Someone please help!!

the 12volt constant wire to the turbo timer, safc and radio are all hooked up to switched 12 volt. The 12 volt switched wire will only provide power when the switch is on, thus all your 3 things get reset back everytime you shut off the car.

Find a 12volt constant wire, like the yellow one behind your cd player if its an aftermarket cd player and hook up all your 3 thing's 12 volt constant wire to this one. Keep the equipments' 12 volt switched wire at the other wire that they are currently hooked up to.
