SAFC before pump/injectors?

I have an opportunity to pick up an SAFCII for pretty cheap. I'm still running stock fuel pump and injectors, but i'm also running a 16g. If I get the SAFCII, is there a point to installing it? Or should I just leave it aside and not install it untill I get a pump/injectors.

u can toss it in there -- it will give you some practice sooner with it.. and ya will be able to turn the fuel up somwhat. ya may wanna re-wire your f/p also.

Consider that you're running out of factory spec on a factory ECU...so your stock ECU is "tuning" your car with all that extra air flow. With the SAFC and a dyno tune, you'll be able to obtain maximum efficiency with your current setup, making full use of that 16G and any untapped whp that is going to waste thanks to the factory ECU calling the shots. Get the SAFC.

You can install it and leave it on its default settings so that it doesn't do anything at all. If you have a logger, you can start playing around with it and tweaking your fuel trim to get a little more hp out of your car.

Fuel pump is rewired
And I have a logger.

I was planning on getting it either way, but looks like I'll install it too. Is it something that I need to keep an eye on all the time, like a gauge? or can I install it out of sight, like in the center console, and just look at it when I need to dial it in?
