im gonna make sure i can go next time.. that looked really fun. it'd be cool to get this meet at a road course!

A/F is in the mid 10s. 91 octane plus meth , low timing and an external dump. I keep bugging him (and Ryuto) to go e85. :sneaky:

i will TED haha decided to but not untill i finish up the motor build and broke it in with 91 octane... i will probably go dual maps... 1 tune for 91 and meth and 1 for E85 for track racing like sac :thumb: also need to upgrade my v2 to v3 and go SD... sounds like a plan??? why???

BECAUSE RACE CAR!!! ROFL

I had a great time. It was hot, I even got sun burned. And I'm black ROFL My car was disappointing, it only went 13.5 at 102. Lots of DSM cars and good company made up for the slow times.

Damn, I guess good rice can't be Uncle Ben's. Even I got 13.3@105 in that car with a small 16G un-tuned!!!

Just messing with ya, J!

I don't think it was intentional, we walked over there and I was surprised to see everyone lining up. I noticed the english racing guys weren't over there and asked them to line up too. It was cool of them to do that, they were super cool the whole day talking to everyone and sharing info. I thought about going over there and asking you to bring your car, but I had just been over there 20 minutes ago looking at your car and didn't see you there, plus I didn't know what you looked like or who you were.

Those types of meets are hard because people show up with other car groups/cultures. I think we should get the stinson beach meet going again, those types of meets most everyone is a dsm'er and its a lot easier to meet everyone and feel like more of a community and less isolated.
Yea no biggie man just had to hassle ya;)

One thing I noticed and really enjoyed was how diverse the group was - I know part of that is just the nature of Cali, but it was just really cool to see all the different ages, ethnicities, and social circles, all hanging out and meshing together so easily. So many differences and yet, we all hang out and act like family with one common interest. Gotta love cars and California.

I love the cars love California but dislike how hot it gets there!

Hell, it gets that hot in Gilroy too, just not as frequently. Mid 90's wasn't all that bad for the event. Could have been 105!

I do like the more mild temps in the Bay Area too though - I just don't like the unjustifiably high housing prices, extra traffic, and a few other things that drove us away from there 6 years ago. I'll put up with occasional hotter temps to be able to enjoy a few more things in life with my extra time and money.

Still love visiting the Bay though. I'm thinking the next meet has to be out there somewhere - maybe Walnut Creek or somewhere in that 680 area. A race event would be cool but it would be nice to be able to relax and just hangout without being preoccupied with prepping and running while we're there. Maybe we could do a drive too - not sure what's around there though.
