1G s90 throttle body install fiav delete

Hello everyone,


I have purchased a block off plate and bypassed the FIAV, while opting to keep my ISC. My question is, do I still need to run coolant to the throttle body when running just the ISC .....I would like to block off the two coolant lines coming off the FIAV and the one on the water pipe.

Please confirm.

I blocked mine off.

No you have blocked he section that used them. Make sure you don't just plug the coolant lines insted loop them. On the fiav you can cap the ports.

Nothing, . Cap them if you want to.

I just do it becouse i feel safer. Personally I feel it would help it keep coolant moveing but ya I doubt there would be an issue many people just block it but alot of the articles I read said to loop it.

When you block/bypass the FIAV, you then remove the coolant lines. Therefore, there shouldn't be any coolant in that area.

One of the reasons people get rid of those hoses is to clean up the engine bay, capping them keeps it clean.

I've looked at that s90 TB a few times myself. I'd love to upgrade to one. Seems like a really sweet piece.
