i just bought a safc2 i was wondering if you guys knew the best settings

Unless you have a logger you aren't doing any tuning. Do you have a bigger fuel pump/injectors?

I don't see anything in your mods that says you need an AFC. There are a billion threads on this, and a couple tech articles. Check this out for starters:

You can still install the AFC, just don't do anything with it. Get a logger as well. BEFORE the injectors/pump go in. Without it you will just be guessing. Guessing at what your settings should be, guessing at what will blow up first, guessing at where you are going to get the $ to fix it...and so on.

Read that tech article and some threads about this, and you will have a wealth of knowledge.

I suggest you not make any adjustments on the safc even if you do have a logger, Until you completly understand the concept of tuning and exactly what you are doing. Also, You cannot just take someone else's settings, You hafto see exactly what is going on with your car(Every car is different, Even if they have the same mods).. So if someone say's put it to - and - adjustment, Don't do it. It could cause you ALOT of money. If you don't understand what is going on, Find someone close by that does, Or go to a shop that knows how to use an safc.

As was said above, you can install the SAFC-II just leave everything zeroed out and enjoy the pretty blue VFD that you can't read during the day.....at least not in a Spyder.

Please ignore the part where they say that the SAFC-II can read knock. They tell you on the 2nd page that they were wrong and that it can't read knock, but for some odd reason the 2nd page has been down for months.

Like everyone said, don't make fuel adjustments blindly. You need some sort of logging device. Also, you can install the AFC now, but leave it all zero'd out for now. You don't need to make fuel adjustments until you upgrade your stock fuel system.

Here's some very good help I once received from an acquaintance of mine:

"The low settings are simple by using the o2 trim shooting for 100% for each rpm. You can do this free revving in neutral. Thats up to 4000k,after that the ecu goes into closed loop and doesn't care about airflow. After that use the long term trims low 1-1.5k,mid2-2.5K,high 3-3.5k to adjust after that.
A good tip for pump gas is to have it a bit richer in the "curve" in the 3-4500k range for two reasons.One to prevent spool knock(which you can't see being 2g). Two, this is where peak torque is created and for pump gas tune is where you need the most fuel for most power."
