With the 50 trim, you will either need to eliminate the driver side fan or purchase a slimline fan to clear. Did you research enough to know that? If you eliminate the fan, you will definately overheat with ac and stock radiator.

i got a fluindine, and no ac fan. i run the ac and havent had any problems with the car overheating. as a matter of fact the car runs cooler when i have the ac on. i also put dexcool radiator fluid. i recommend it.

I wasnt talking about you, I was talking about 16g-95gst. I said it will overheat with the stock radiator, and from the looks of it, you dont have a fmic to block airflow so I guess you dont overheat.

since you put it like that, your fmic might be the issue. well i had a 95 talon awd w/ stock radiator, stock everything else, and a big fmic from greedy and i had the ac fan off. i drove it to vegas a couple of times in the summer during the day with no issues. peace. :talon:

A thermostat is what sets the minimum operating temperature of the motor.

Engines with cooler engine temperatures have greater power potential since higher compression or higher boost pressures can be obtained before reaching the detonation threshold (not to mention denser intake temperatures). Fuel comsumption will be sacrificed even if proper fuel management is applied; and pistons clearances should be machined accordingly to avoid unecessary wear.
