Rwd sr20 1g

Okay so I own a 1g gsx with about 500awhp also just finished my skyline build and in ready to start a new project I was thinking about dropping a sr20det into my gsx and doing a full rwd conversion anyone seen this done before? I'm tired of AWD it's just not fun to me and I refuse to go fwd.. Now idk nor do I care if there is already a post about this I don't know how to use forums very well and I don't really care to learn.. If your going to put bitchy input on this post. Feel free I won't give a damn or listen to what you have to say. I'm just seeking people who have or have seen this done. Thanks

Why not just take what you have a 4g engine get the rwd trans and do it that way.Rather than sticking an sr20 into a 4g car.

Never seen it done before... but why would you use the sr20det? when the 4g63t is a way better motor? and its already in the gsx.

Well because I didn't know there was a rwd trans for it plus I just wanted to go with a Nissan engine because of the skyline and all

I'm also not looking for insane amounts of power just a moderate 300-350 rwhp

It's funny in that video they do all that work, but never actually show the car driving. Hmm alittle fishy to me like something didn't work out the way they planned. I mean why would you use a jack and only let it idle on the jack, I'd be out ripping it up in that thing if it really worked. They definelty did that rwd mod getto style, pour evo!

Ya how are you making 500awhp on a big16g?? Must be some new ebay turbo non of us have heard about yet !! You do know that turbo will only make like 380-400hp if your lucky and a good tuner! and no fuel upgrades in your profile, I call b.s. !!! I think your but dyno needs calibration and pics of this skyline build or it didn't happen!

I knew a guy who said he was making 370whp in his r33. Stock engine 110psi compression across the board, a knock off ssqv, and a leaking screamer pipe.

I was really close to completing a 4G swap into my S13. I still plan on doing it someday.

Take the 4G, turn it the right way, and put a Bill Hincher bellhousing on it and a T56 trans. Lots of fab work and a custom driveshaft later, POW! A RWD DSM.

Lol! Sounds like a local 350Z owner around my parts. Claimed to be making like 350rwhp with an intake and CBE. Not happening. Walked away in my bolt-on 3000GT VR-4...

Yes - ER, Curt and Boostin' have put down that type of power on a grand total of 3 cars in the history of DSMs. Not just professionals working at a shop with the experience and knowledge among them to select complimentary parts, but accomplished tuners as well.

It's fairly safe to guess that this guy is not making 500awhp on his 16G. First and foremost he would need the fuel to do it, anyway.

Everybody thinks their 16G car is one bad mofo.
