Okay so I own a 1g gsx with about 500awhp also just finished my skyline build and in ready to start a new project I was thinking about dropping a sr20det into my gsx and doing a full rwd conversion anyone seen this done before? I'm tired of AWD it's just not fun to me and I refuse to go fwd.. Now idk nor do I care if there is already a post about this I don't know how to use forums very well and I don't really care to learn.. If your going to put bitchy input on this post. Feel free I won't give a damn or listen to what you have to say. I'm just seeking people who have or have seen this done. Thanks

Does anybody know how RWD Eclipses handle? I'd love to pull the front axles with a locked center diff, but I've heard they can't stay in a straight line. But maybe that's the idea :hellyeah:

The RWD conversion does work. I have about 3000 miles on it like this. So far no problems at all.

Skyline kid sounds like a flake to me. I just read this thread, funniest part is "I bet you order your parts with a anolog telephone from Jegs catalog" laughed out loud super hard! So he does have a skyline, doesn't mention its a 1990 2wd base model. And anyone who builds a 20 year old DSM to make 500 HP has skills, enough skills and mitsubishi knowledg that he wouldn't need to ask about a rwd conversion. Duh. Seems to me like one would have enough skills and magic to do the research and experiment and do the bloody knuckle thing all on his own to get it right.

Just my opinion

Goodluck with that SR swap and they problematic valvetrain issues....

turned a awd talon into rwd by welding diff and removing. car had a 17c turbo. thought car would be fun reminscing of old rwd days. was absolutely horrible to drive. theres not enough weight in the rear. fwd is waaaay more fun.

also did this one day to 2wd dyno my awd mirage in rwd. same results no fun to drive at all. destroyed a new set of drag radials in three pulls. just no weight in the back.

Ya who picks up raccoons and throws them dude LOL. It's definitely a cat/raccoon :( I don't really like cats but I wish someone would pick that Kid up an chuck him down the stairs like that, see how he feels after. This is why our world is the way it is today, sad really no respect for life!! Well I'm sure that kid throwing the raccoon is way more annoying than the coon itself. Again its sad this is the way our world is, it no wonder out economy is so screwed, people spend more time throwing raccoons and laughing at it than worrying about our future!!

The raccoon was attacking and killing that guys small dog. Just saying, Its a racoon, it'l be ok. :thumb:
