Rust Proofing Underside of Body Options

I need to rust proof the underside of my Talon since i live in PA where road salt will eat your car alive. Im looking for some options on what is out there that works good. I know POR-15 works great, but just seeing if there are any other options out there that are quite as expensive as POR15 is.

I have used regular truck bed coating and it seems to work pretty well. You might want to try that and save a little $$

I've used Rust-oleum products for undercoating and to stop rust as well. Also, you should check out this video:

To truly rust proof and coat the undercarriage you need to remove and unbolt everything and manually remove the rust. All other methods are only cosmetic.

Im in the same situation as you are with a new shell I recently picked up. Working on the chassis right now and have removed all suspension/subframes and stripped everything down with a wire wheel. I used chassis Saver which is similar to por 15. After the paint cured I applied a rubberized undercoating.

Without removing the rust in the first place, you're just trapping it in.
