so i recently got a 16g and installed it and replaced the clutch master cylinder all at the same time. everything was great for a week but now im leaking a fluid thats getting on the underside of my hood. i dont think its oil. my camshaft seals and valve cover gaskets are good, its leaking so much its causing a puddle under the car on the drivers side between the oil pan and drivers wheel somewhere, first it was a few drips and a film on the hood. now only sometimes it will be a few drops and others its about as big around as a coke can. i cant pinpoint it or really tell what fluid it is, its doesnt taste like oil. im thinking maybe power steering since its the only fluid thats low, almost not registering on the dip stick. im just kinda looking for a second opinion or want to know if anyone else has ran into this

reddish color to me would point to power steering.

I know you said the cam seals are good but I had it once on my old 1g the cam seals were bad, when I would drive oil would sling on the hood, then come down by the good latch and leak on top of the hood on my windshield. Weirdest leak I've ever had but it took me a little while to find it, I would just double check those seals

power steering hose. open the hood, start the engine and have someone crank the steering wheel to lock while you watch for the stream of oil. eye protection can be smart.

You tasted it??
?

Lol sorry not much help, just had to say that's kinda funny if you actually tasted it

Edit: to the helping point, if you think it's the Ps fluid follow your PS lines while running and see if you can see where the drips originate from. You holding engine oil without leaks?

If you hold the steering wheel to the lock position the power steering pump oil pressure relief valve will start making a hissing or squealing noise. This tells you the pump is making the highest pressure it is capable of and will make it easy for you to find your leak.
Being that you have a fine mist on the underside of your hood you can expect to see a vaporized mist coming out of the hose or fitting.
