Runs But Will Not Idle

I'm looking at a 1991 Eclipse GSX automatic with only 70,000 miles on it. The car runs but will not idle, I have been told that it is the turbo but I'm not sure. What should I look for to try and figure out if this is the problem or if it is something else? Please let me know quickly, I'm going to look at the car again monday and really want to buy it.

First off don't let those guys scare ya cause it has problems....EVERY DSM eats parts and wallets...its how it works. i figure it this way...better to fix them right away then you know you have a few miles before another reaming, and call a dealer and see how much that tranny costs if you blow it

might want to start researching the auto performance stuff, mine has 112,000 miles on it and come out of the hole like a turd, but there is a place called IPT look under the parts guide.
