will not idle

I realize this could be caused by alot of things, but the car (95 talon) was running fine until I took an offramp and got to the stoplight... it dies and won't idle, but will start and run fine, just gotta keep foot on the gas to keep it from dying at idle... I'm wondering what could cause this to happen all of a sudden...??? thanks for any suggestions...

Pull you idle air control off and clean it. Its the thing on the bottom back of the Throttle body with a plug in it and you'll need an 8mm socket e6 inch extension and a 1/4 inch rachet.
