Running with no WG

Ok how bad would it be to run with out a WG temporarly? I know its not good to but if I dont hit boost and drive it to somewhere i can park it till I can buy a external WG setup would that be fine?

You would be fine just cruising, as long as you are not on full throttle. Definately watch your boost guage though if you do.

What do you mean no wastegate? No actuator? With no actuator you will have 0 boost the flapper will be open all the time.

No wg or flapper. it depends what housing i get for my turbo. its either gonna be setup for wg off o2 or manifold

Same thing 0 boost if the hole for the flapper is just open.

If you are going waste gate off the manifold, than your wg hole in the turbine housing will be closed, and therefor it will build boost. If the wg is off the o2, then it will be open and you will build very little to no boost.

Your profile says you have a Chinabay 16G, so if you are simply planning on pulling the actuator off and wiring the interal gate open you should be fine.

What type of turbo setup are you currently running???...If your in the market for a turbo upgrade I might just happen to have the solve for your problem...I upgraded to a Forced Performance 3586 Turbo and have the former complete turbo/external wastgate/O2 housing/3"exhaust that I'd like to off to ease the pain of the new FP setup.

Yes i had a chinabay turbo temporarly. gave it back to my buddy since my clutch broke. im upgrading to a holset wh1c. i ran into issues at work and i need to get my car back tgether and out of the shop. i tried trading my holset for a bolt on turbo but im having no luck getting a decent turbo for trade. so i have to make the holset work.

OIC...well you can do what I had to do and that was to eat the older turbo and sell it off and upgrade everything...sometimes you have to take a few steps backwards in order to travel forward...Know what I mean???

I tried selling the turbo as well and no luck.
